Welcome to the Country Housing Authority (CHA), established by the state government in 1998 to provide housing finance to rural and remote West Australians.
As of 1 July 2009 an alliance with Keystart will see the establishment of the Country Loans Centre - a one-stop shop for all country housing loans. This new alliance brings many advantages to rural West Australians. These include:
- A broader range of loan products for all regional residents, including specialised loans for farmers, rural employers, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, first home buyers and those in remote areas who require power;
- A team of ‘on the ground’ regional brokers living and working in rural communities who understand the unique needs of rural West Australians; and
- A more streamlined and efficient loans application, assessment and management process.
